I found an unedited photo of the model Frida Gustavsson which I made two version of;

First I made a simply retouch version where I just basically smoothed out her skin a bit and removed some “imperfections” to make the photo feel a bit more fresh.
Of course I think Frida is amazing in her own right, don’t get me wrong, but now it’s a bit more magazine like.

Second I did a more dramatic look just for fun. As you can see I haven’t poked at her skin quite as harsh because I wasn’t after the same feeling as in the first.

I must admit that I’m getting a bit tired of starting my entries with “sorry I haven’t been around”; but what’s a girl to do. This summer I haven’t published a single post and while that is horrible and all that I honestly haven’t had much to write about.

Okay, that’s a lie.
I haven’t had much to gaming to write about is more like it.

I spent pretty much all of June in Thailand and when I got back my computer decided to kick itself,which wasn’t a big surprise to be honest. I’m still using the same computer and it’s frustrating to game on something that shuts down every now and then. On the other hand I can now be considered a pro at quick saving.

So yeah, I’ll update the blog every now and then but you won’t get much gaming news until I’ve managed to put together a new computer.

I’m currently in between games while waiting for The Witcher II to release (not many days left now!) and I can’t really find the inspiration to write about anything as of now.

Chances are that there will be a review of The Witcher soon, most likely before the release of II, since I played through it quite recently… gotta have the first fresh in mind when taking in the second 😉

I realise that I should probably post an entry about The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim so people don’t think I missed it but there’s quite a few months until the release so at this point it feels really far away.

In other news I don’t really have any news.

Let me start off by saying that there will be no spoilers, so even if you haven’t played Origins this will be safe for you.

I pre-ordered this game months before it came out and got the signature edition for PC, I guess my hope for an epic adventure was what set me up.

As a gamer that almost exclusively plays on a PC one of the things that stood out for me was the fact that this game was ment for a console, unfortunately it didn’t make the game as enjoyable as it could have been (if you’re playing on a console I doubt this will be a problem). The game doesn’t offer a very good overview because everything from your inventory to the level up is divided and throughout the game I was frequently reminded of a random shooter game, not what I had expected.

In fact there wasn’t much I had expected, if the game had another name I would probably thought “they stole Dragon Age’s world and character design” because that is pretty much all that remains the same. The game as a whole made me think that they were targeting a whole different group than the ones who love Origins, in my opinion the change wasn’t in the right direction.
I guess what I’m trying to say is that while change can be refreshing I wouldn’t suggest hitting yourself in the head with a hammer just to live it up a little.

After play-through I was honestly disappointed, it felt like I’d just went through a rather long expansion with an anti-climax to end it all, I even got dead silence during the credits to really help that empty feeling.
BioWare have favored special effects over anything else and there is nothing epic about this game.

What do you think about H&M’s new campaign called Fall Fashion?

Personally I love it because it’s not as gloomy as autumn fashion usually is. While there is black and some muted colors it also has a lot of soft colors with pink, green and red, which brings a certain freshness that is invaluable at this stage.
Most of the time I get really sad when it starts to get colder because it means I have to put away all of my fancy summer/spring clothes, so campaigns such as these are a welcome change.

As of recent I find myself thinking more about my blog than usual. I’m guessing this is the second day in a row, that I’ve posted something, in a long time… probably months.

It’s not like I’ve forgotten about the blog because I sit a lot in front of my computer and it’s on my favorites so I see the link every day, still I haven’t clicked on it except from looking at my stats every other week. Funny thing is that every day I’ve had readers, except for yesterday.

I guess that’s why I started posting things again. The human mind sure is a marvellous machine.

Yesterday I had 0 visitors.

As of now I’m sitting half-naked and coughing my lungs up. The reason for this is because I have the most annoying cold ever, I got it in a fun way (kinda) but still.

Last week I volunteered at a Swedish festival as a part of the safety team (the one that does a little bit of everything when needed and just generally solves problems). I had a great time and I didn’t get sick until the last day so it’s all good.

My problem however, aside from the obvious, is that I have no idea what to do now. Ever since I got home it’s been kind of empty.
